How to mine alloy and what is it?
First, what is Alloy? Alloy is a cryptocurrency based on the cryptonight algorithm. It is mined by Cpu and Gpu. The first AlloyCoin prototype was created August 2017. Alloy eliminates part of volatility by giving investors crypto-dividends. "Those dividends give investors returns while allowing for a secure price needed for pricing goods and services." Creating and running the wallet
Alloy Wallet - https://github.com/alloy-project/alloy/releases
Extract the alloy folder to the desktop and run "alloyd.exe"
Run this for about a minute or two until the wallet has synced. My alloyd is messed up and I am getting errors but it should say Synchronized OK and stay still.
Now, once you have run the alloyd.exe you can run "simplewallet.exe." You must run alloyd every time in order to run simplewallet. However, the wallet will take less than 30 seconds to sync after the first time.
Once you have started the wallet press "G" to generate a new wallet.
Make a "Username" and "Password."
And there you go! A new wallet created. Make sure to save your username and password.
Now that your wallet is created you are one step closer to mining alloy. Every time you use the wallet remember to run alloyd first. Also, once you've run the wallet, press "O" and then login.
Mining Alloy

Extract the XMR STAK Miner folder to the desktop, and then open "alloy-config.txt"
Place your wallet address were the purple is. There should be a default one there.
Run "Start-Alloy-XMR.bat" and mining should commence.
That's how to mine! For me at the time, alloy.popularpool.com wasn't responsive. Sorry. I have mined on this pool before. When you run the miner it will connect it's probably just me, I hope.
