The token sale event will start on May 3rd and continue for a week. The project is focused on the health industry, to be specific genomics. Project Shivom aims to utilize blockchain’s cryptographic and decentralized nature in storing genetic data for research. The ICO is on Ethereum platform and offers OMX token - ERC20.

Technological advances in information technologies and data science are important factors and the fuels in the evolving healthcare industry. As the scientists understand genome and the genomic sequences better, they find cures to more complex diseases. Advances in genome science may result in better chances for treatment of cancers, cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative conditions, and possibly 7000 rare diseases. Project Shivom is aiming to provide a milestone to enhance our understanding of these diseases and finding a cure for many of them. Shivom is preparing to offer a platform for patients and genome data donors will have their genome sequenced and securely stored in the blockchain. Then the genome data donor will be able to control, share and sell their data. Other stakeholders of healthcare industry, such as research organizations, insurance companies, pharmaceuticals, support groups and of course governments will be able to join the ecosystem and conduct research, analyze genomic data and provide personalized medicine.
