The market has been a gut-wrenching roller coaster ride lately, and I've had to remind myself that there's nothing wrong with "only" being up 40%. In any other investment type, 40% would look like a godsend.
One of my faithful standbys has been a coin called Po.et. Right now it's super cheap, trading at $0.16 against its high of $0.28--and the only reason it's down at all is because the market as a whole hasn't been doing well. I just bought more this morning--it's tough to argue with the data.

Why is it such hit, especially for people on Steemit? Consider these factors:
They offer a real product.
For the first time, content creators will have a copy of their online assets’ origins and derivative data.
In other words, content creators can finally verify, own, and profit from their online work.

That's just the surface. There's also Samsung and BBC's Richard Titus, YAHOO! senior VP Jim Heckman, former Vimeo exec Greg Clayman, and many others. That's a vote of extreme confidence from some of the cryptocurrency community's biggest investors.
They have a transparent and achievable timeline to market.
By the end of March, Po.et will release its WordPress integration.
By April, they'll start offering licenses.
By October, the content marketplace will launch.

Just a quick shout out to the Reddit, Steemit, and Twitter communities. I think artists of all kinds will be attracted to POE, and thus far that's been the case. Of all the cryptocurrency communities I've joined, I have to say that though it is smaller, the POE community is the most enjoyable to interact with.
