Hokusai Reimagined - 北斎は想像した
I've been working on a fun project, Hokusai Reimagined. A crypto take on Hokusai's 葛飾 北斎's work.
私は楽しいプロジェクト、北斎Reimaginedに取り組んできました。 北斎の葛飾北斎の作品を暗号化したもの。
Part 4 - "The Eater Of Dreams"
The Original - "The Laughing Demon"
I am really having fun working with these old prints. Not only is it educational to learn about Hokusai, but it gives me a glimpse into my subconscious. For most of these pieces ideas have immediately come to mind.

For this piece it was easy to imagine Jihan Wu causing chaos amongst crypto with his ASICs. So much so that Monero hard forked to render Bitmain ASICs useless on Monero. I am not against ASICs, but I am against one company having a virtual monopoly on them and using that monopoly reinforce it's grip on power over crypto.

I think there are many people who won't "get it" because they don't follow what's happening in crypto. I hope I am wrong about Bitmain, but from what I have read and people I have talked to, the near future is pretty dark for POW.

So you know this art well I take it? Hokusai has a TON of artwork out there. I found some lesser known pieces that are really cool and hope to use one of them next time.
