Global Crypto Offering Exchange said Philippine senator and boxing legend Manny Pacquiao will be launching his PAC Coin this month.
Eight-time division world boxing champion and Philippine Senator Manny Pacquiao will formally launch his PAC Coin, which is powered by GCOX. The coin will be introduced at the upcoming Blockchain Fair Asia 2018 to be held in Manila, the Philippine, on October 11-12 this year.
In an e-mail sent to Cryptovest, the organizer said the event would have the theme :Looking Beyond the Blockchain Hype," and will take place at the SMX Convention Centre Aura, Taguig City. It will have the objective of separating realistic promise from uncertain probability in the highly-hyped blockchain industry.

This is an interesting concept. Putting an exchangeable token with a price attached to a celebrity's perceived public value. When celebrities do a lot of good, the price could increase and when they are perceived to be less popular to the public, the price of their token decreases. It's a scary concept people being able to value your social value in dollar terms.
