RE: A horrific NEW Ethereum App for Buying Selling or Collecting your Facebook Friends (think Cryptokitties + Black Mirror)

How about creating a separate version for Steemit utilizing SMTs instead of ERC-721 tokens?

I'm not saying to ditch the Facebook friend adoption, but have a sister version for Steemit users. Facebook clearly has the numbers and the monetizing potential, but Steemit is growing and already has people that are interested in cryptocurrency. I can take a look at my facebook account and can't find a single friend that would have anything to do with cryptocurrency. It is different here. Here everyone is a cryptocurrency owner.

Here, account reputation and vesting power means everything. Adopting another user could be a hot item if they do well and build their reputation and influence. Their trading card "adoption" value could be another metric to show how well the user is valued.

Anyway, just a thought since SMTs are going to launch soon.

I Resteemed to give you some visibility.

I wouldn't rule out applying it to Steemit, their JSON API's are much easier to integrate with as opposed to Facebook's current version. But I'm not sure if the ownership of blogging accounts has as much incentive as irl friends/family. As soon as they establish a non-fungible token protocol similar to ERC-721 & browser compatible web3 wallet, I'd be willing to try it out ^.^
