Judging by that market reaction, everyone just wanted an excuse to get some cheaper coins. :)
I think that was the play by the Monero team. Shake out to help themselves!
Luckily I didn't buy. I was thinking about it recently as it seemed to have hit its bottom.
I usually hold medium to long-term and avoid margin trading, though.
Quite possibly one of the stupidest things I've seen done in the crypto world so far. I didn't have much invested so it's not a big deal, but XMR is permanently off my list.
I think a lot of people feel the same way @rt395 they acted like internet punks and certainly don't present well.
He was trying to prove a point, but in a very un ethical way imho. People lost a lot of money..
