Just when you think the crypto markets are crashing they bounce back. I expect this is partly driven by speculators buying back in when they think the prices are low enough. I'm not sure there's enough actual news to drive this. Ethereum Classic is one of the few to not be up.
Steem benefitted from this recovery, but just continues to hold its position. There's no sign that the hardfork and SMT news has had an effect. It would be good to see it back over a dollar, but it's okay for now.

I know of some people who bought some Steem, but then they may also have bought some at a higher price. I just don't play that game.

The higher low on the Bitcoin daily is a bullish indicator.
I’ve just been buying Steem here and there when I have a spare $30 -$50 to chuck in. To me it’s all low and I’m making my Steem work for me by obviously powering up. So I’ll reap benefits regardless. I’ll be doing this through the New Year as long as my wallet will allow me to do so.
I bought in 1.2 USD. I was waiting for 50-70 cents for second buying. I hope we dont see 50-70 cents.
Yeah steem recovered but we are not out of the troubled waters yet... Not enough volume to support an up trend...

I just had the email from Coinbase, but I don't actually use that these days. I think Wirex may add it too, or that may have been ETH. I wish these companies would use Steem too :)
I'm not really into buying up crypto. I've gained a bit from various giveaways.
