Some months ago I saw @lloyddavis post about Grantcoin. It's yet another cryptocurrency with some basis in Bitcoin, but is supposed to be moving to proof of stake this year to be less energy intensive. They share out a percentage of what is available to anyone who wants it as a form of basic income. All you have to do is set up an account and it gets paid in without you doing anything else. I only did this so a week or so ago and already have a few dollars worth.
There's a generous referral bonus of 100% for each recruit for the first year, so by signing up a few people you could get a nice amount, assuming the price doesn't fall dramatically. You can use my link if you want. I will see how it goes, but will look at giving some to good causes.
You can use Ekata for the on-line wallet and this includes various social features (groups and messaging). I've not used those as yet, but if some people I know sign up then it may be useful. I've been looking at various ways to get some passive income, including those linked in my signature. They only make me pennies, but may be worth something in the long run. You really can't expect to get much for almost no work, but Grantcoin is paying better than most and I don't have to keep visiting ad-filled sites to get my share.
There are also desktop and mobile wallet apps.
My Eobot cloud mining is generating 1 Steem every couple of weeks, but I did buy a fair bit using what I got from other faucets. That will keep running for a few years and should eventually be in profit.
Btw are we earning Grantcoin or the Dummycoins?

I signed up when @luzcypher mentioned GrantCoin a few weeks ago. I haven't checked my account since then, lol. That's passive, alright - I ought to check about the income part sometime soon. ; )
I have have used his link too. You may find you have lots. We was testing a few things with @ervin-lemark last night. It is convoluted to sign up and get verified. I had some issues with the site too, but I've let them know.
I think he said he was making about 50 cents a day. But I'm sure the value changes. I think my signup went OK. I've made a note to check next week. It's an interesting concept.
I think I'm making about that much, which is a lot more than any faucet I've used. With a few sign-ups that could multiply. I think they only have a few thousand users so far

It took about 5 days to get a mail with my referral link. I assume it's a manual process to approve an account.
