I've not spent much crypto directly. I know some people do use it a lot though. I saw it done in Split when a coffee shop owner was introduced to Distriator. You can use the V4V app to convert HBD to Bitcoin Lightning that various places accept.
I think a lot of businesses are wary given how volatile crypto is, but stablecoins ought to be viable. In Venezuela and Cuba it is more acceptable when the local currency has serious inflation issues.
I did buy some art for HBD from an artist I've know here for years.
