The pre-sale conditions of Petro, the first Venezuelan cryptocurrency with support in mineral and oil resources, are given so that on February 20 it will begin operations for its acquisition.

The first event will have a system of discounts for the first buyers to encourage investment and it is estimated that at this stage are other trading partners of Venezuela and large national public companies who acquire these digital parts.

El primer evento contará con un sistema de descuentos para los primeros compradores para incentivar la inversión y se estima que en esta etapa sean otros Estados socios comerciales de Venezuela y grandes empresas públicas nacionales quienes adquieran estas piezas digitales.

On the other hand, the ICO will be open to all interested parties, it is a public offer in which any person with access to foreign currencies and various crypto actives can exchange them for Petros at the international rate of the Venezuelan oil barrel.

En cambio, la ICO estará abierta a todos los interesados, es una oferta pública en la que cualquier persona con acceso a divisas y diversos criptoactivos podrá cambiarlos por Petros a la tasa internacional del barril de petróleo venezolano.

The Petros will be sold in bolivars (local currency) only in the secondary market, which will be generated after the Presale and Initial Offer is completed, through the online exchange houses that will be created within the country and the existing ones at an international level, said Superintendent Vargas.

Los Petros serán vendidos en bolívares (moneda local) sólo en el mercado secundario, que se generará luego de que sea finalizada la Preventa y la Oferta Inicial, a través de las casas de cambio en línea que se crearán dentro del país y las ya existentes a nivel internacional, precisó el Superintendente Vargas.

By the end of March, the Venezuelan government will launch the Petro platform, so the ERC20 tokens will disappear and a proprietary Blockchain will be available to carry out operations with this cryptocurrency.

Para fines de marzo, el gobierno venezolano realizará el lanzamiento de la plataforma Petro, por lo que los tokens ERC desaparecerán y se dispondrá de una cadena de bloques propia para realizar las operaciones con esta criptomoneda.

For the month of April, the Petro network tests and the start of operations at the digital exchange offices will be carried out. Para el mes de abril se harán las pruebas de la red Petro y el inicio de las operaciones en las casas de cambio digitales, su valor mínimo será el que fije el mercado petrolero, pero dado sus características de moneda preminada y limitada a una sola emisión de 100 millones de unidades puede incrementar su precio aún por encima del valor establecido en la preventa: se considera como un mecanismo de ahorro inmune a los procesos inflacionarios del país.
