The Curator - Issue #20 - Cryptocurrency

Hello Steemit Friends....

The world of Cryptocurrency can be quite an interesting one. With so much to learn. For those that are not very techie, or have a lack trading experience with Crypto. It can be quite overwhelming. But once you learn a bit. And get yourself a comfortable feel for it. You will then be able to start deciding just how much techie you would like to bite off.

Crypto opens up our world in many different ways in our lives. Just take Steemit for an example. Since this may be your first time seeing the Steemit platform. It may seem to look just like any other social or blog website. So not much difference, right? Well, not exactly.
It is designed around blogging and curating in order to receive Crypto gifts. Or CryptoCurrencies, to be exact. For writing good posts and comments. As well as upvoring other people's posts and comments that you like and appreciate. While others may do the same for you. Gifts for quality posts and comments are received for up to 7 days.

For many people, Steemit is the first real interaction that they have had with cryptocurrencies. And is where you will find many sharing all sorts of Crypto knowledge, that can actually be preserved in the blockchain. So unlike most websites. Even if an issue arises. Like if the Steemit site happens to go down. You will never have to worry about losing your info or work.. What a relief that is. Right?
If you do not understand about what the Blockchain is.... Well, no worry at all. Because there are many knowledgeable bloggers here on Steemit that are most willing to fill you in on everything you need to know about the crypto world. Also be sure to follow us. And keep your eyes peeled. As we may be doing a future issue specifically on the Blockchain. Here on Steemit everyone has different skill sets and interests. In which they share their own personal knowledge of. Like sustainability, history that one may wish to learn about, places people have traveled, perhaps stories of those defending their country. Some wish to learn or share about the financial markets. Or of a different way of life in other countries. Even from past histories, And of course as this issue is about. Steemit is a fabulous place to learn all about CryptoCurrency.

When it comes to Crypto. Steemit has much information and many awesome but different points of views on this topic.
They may or may not be the same as your own. Also, we recommend that you do plenty of reading. Get as much info as you can.
So that you can make the best decisions for yourself with Cryptocurrencies. And trading with them.

Speaking of Crypto. Let's take a step into the world of the Steemit community. And get their views on the amazing Cryptocurrency....

One of the main issues many people seem to have with Bitcoin, and other Cryptocurrencies. Is that you can't spend them at the stores, Actually many stores do accept them. It's just a matter of finding out who and where they are accepted. Also which cryptocurrency, entrepreneur & business owners have decided to set themselves up with, to accept payments. Of course they may need to learn just how to do this, Within Steemit there are quite a few very cleaver devs you may come across. That like building codes, apps, @phelimint highlights a dev that he found. That freely lets people use his code (script) for adding a Pay With STEEM/SBD manual payment gateway to a Shopify Store. In which @phelimint incorporated easily into his store to be able to accept the cryproCurrency through their website. You can read more details about it Here..

Just thinking about wanting to buy property is a headache in it's self before even getting to actually buying one and the legal jargon, would purchasing property through crypto make it even a fraction of what it is now easier, @g-dubs gives a incite into property on the blockchain Here.

The great thing about Cryptocurrency is you can choose from many diffeent coins that you may like and wish to support. Once you've made sure to do plenrt of research. And you feel confident and ready. You can happily dip your toes in. Or if you are feeling rather brave. You may choose to just dive right in head first, It's totally your choice, on how small or big you decide to go into a coin. As well as wether you hold a coin to see how much it may grow. Or decide to sell for a quick turn of a profit. Maybe a rinse & repeat strategy., @barrydutton shares some of the going on's with Litecoin over the past month, up to when it hit $200, The funny thing is. I remember a few years back when it was $1 And still didn't get any, Sometimes you have to do what your funds allow. As well as use the knowledge you have at that time. As back then some of us were still fumbling around. Trying to figure crypto out. Once you know where to get some good information that you need. It becomes a lot easier to research these coins, it's all part of learning. LTC is the 2nd crypto to come out on the market after BTC. With all that has gone on with BTC over the last few months. Many turned more in the direction of LTC and or other ALT's. To read more on LTC adventures on the market in the last week or so continue

Here.

PostHuntress @the-curator

You basically just described my first 3 days here on Steemit. Going from literally no knowledge of crypto's to searching the easiest ways to invest in them. Also the potential of Steemit, or rather the Steem blockchain is incredible, much greater than the blockchains of BTC and ETH by allowing to create diverse platforms around it.

Welcome to Steemit @xyzposter,
There's plenty to learn in crypto take your time and figure out what interests you and what you might use, there's plenty of ways to get involved in crypto. Steemit is a great starting point.

Thanks, it sure looks like it. It is going all so fast, I am sometimes having to decide wheter to look into this currency or browse Steemit. AARGH, Decisions!

When your upvoting, posting and commenting you can gain gifts in steem so it is a win win what ever you do as you can learn thru the steemit platform both.
Discord is a great place to learn about Steemit and Crypto also, there are many groups using discord to help steemians.

Thank you so much for your comments. I think we all feel the way you do in
the beginning. It does get easier. Just remember to research. Keep your focus.
Feel free to ask as many questions as you wish.
Knowledge is key. Also, enjoy what your doing. =)

Thanks for including me in the issue and LMK back on it.

Thank you @barrydutton

We really appreciate you letting us to share your fabulous post.

I share good stuff regularly.

You really should look at what I just posted in the privacy/breaking news sector 2 mins ago. It affects everyone and is good news.

-- have a good night

Hi, @barrydutton We would love to see more of your work.
Does this mean we may have permission to pehaps share your
work in future issues of our magazine? Wishing you a great day/evening.
PostHuntress, @the-curator

Sure, anytime you want.

I've worked hard here, to develop my posts, ideas, formatting and audience, may as well share away.

Just message me back when you share my content, I cannot get to all the replies anymore but I try.

It sucks now they changed the reply system here weeks ago, very inefficient from all angles.

have a good weekend.

Awsome... Thank you so much. And yes, we will always
Communicate with you. Changes are not always easy or pleasant.
But I have come to expect them online. So I just try adapt to them. The one thing that does aggravate me a bit, is they seem to have taken away my alerts. Now that is just silly. I sure hope they give them back. You have a great weekend as well, @barrydutton =)

thx

Just noticed the gifting mistake, enjoy :D

Good day STEEMIAN!

This is all free and opensource information and may be of beneficial use to everyone; all you need to do is upvote all posts of @lightingmacsteem and @minnowminer and receive the sharing of the 33 percent of all SBD author rewards on a daily basis, no questions asked.

The @minnowminer program aims to help in the awareness program of the versatile JOULESTEEM circuit, a non-solar non-wind approach to low-power offgrid energy generation by re-distributing and sharing the daily SBD gains of all posts made by @lightingmacsteem and @minnowminer.

The JOULESTEEM circuit is reaching a very encouraging milestone (@lightingmacsteem post #51) that enables it to harness non-conventional offgrid power sources (air and ground as a huge capacitor) which is in turn made to charge big capacity batteries. This makes it very much ideal for low-power energy generation no matter the location, no matter the weather, no matter what time of the day.

To be able to fast-track its adoption worldwide and to where it may be needed most, the @minnowminer program is introduced to encourage all STEEMIANS to help and be part of the quick transformation of the JOULESTEEM circuit.

This is maybe the only straight-to-the-point no-questions-asked sharing scheme that will enable each one to earn and learn as a STEEMIAN.

Keep on STEEMING guys!!!
