Vertcoin Wallet, the slowest I've ever seen.....

Does anyone else have the same experience with Vertcoin Wallet? I have been setting here all day and it is still not synchronized ...it is moving along very slowly...like a snail..

        It took me about 3 hours to d/l vertcoin core.. maybe start over with a fresh download?!
