Yesterday, Bosch publicly announced that the company has acquired a significant amount of IOTA. This is intended to intensify and further expand the joint partnership.
After the partnership between Microsoft and IOTA was last announced but was not really a true partnership in the true sense, the course of IOTA staggered and moved slightly downhill.
But IOTA could really convince another German heavyweight of its technology. IOTA announced yesterday that it has Bosch as a new partner in the boat. As a result, the price of the IOTA rose from € 3.18 to € 4.29 within 24 hours, leading to a price increase of around 25%.
The cooperation is also confirmed on the official website of Bosch which states:
"We have been working with the IOTA team for more than one year. I'm very excited about IOTA's innovative tangle technology, which could become the standard underlying technology for trustless machine to machine communication, security and payment in the IoT space"
There will be a lot of synergy between Bosch and the IOTA Foundation, and I'm looking forward to seeing more industrial adoptions of this technology in the near future
This gives IOTA further growth in a large company that seems to be convinced by Tangle technology.
IOTA solves the problem of scalability through the Tangle protocol and can serve as a crypto-currency for machine-to-machine. Lately, voices have been heard repeatedly criticizing the fact that the technology only has to prove its worth in practice.
So it's thrilling all around the German crypto currency IOTA and its rise within the crypto market.
Yesterday there was also an update of the IOTA Wallet to version 2.5.5. that should work better according to the developers.
