A Decentralized internet vs. Centralized internet
A centralized internet is very unsafe. Facebook, google etc. are all secure? So that's what we think, what does this mean? They say they are secure and that you are on the right site, but are they secure? These companies all run through hidden middle man, that steal your information and make it easier for your information to be hacked, or even sold. When you trust one company you trust others as well. This includes companies like your internet service provider or who made your browser software, etc. Another problem with a centralized internet platform is that they own all of the content you create! How is this FAIR!? A decentralized internet will be the future. A decentralized internet entails of zero middle men which is 100% secure and owning all of the content you create. Decentralized internet : Ownership of data, Safer, No middle man.
Centralized internet : Company owns data, You give data to more than just Facebook, middle men also attain this information.
