The most successful layer 2 sidechain solution Matic Network heading to Mainnet
Matic Network has announced that Counter Stake Stage 1 is now complete! The final stage begins for the mainnet of the Matic.
And the run-up to the mainnet has just begun 🎉
With the assistance of our Counter Stake validators, Matic Network have comprehensively tested the network to identify and repair any issues, and have achieved a flawlessly running beta network. The latest iteration of our Counter Stake testnet (CS-2006) of the Matic Network has now been running perfectly for over two weeks - in short, Stage 1 has been a huge success for the all validators!
The final stage, Stage 2, will officially commence in the coming up days. Matic Network's validators will essentially attempt to 'break' the network, in order to ensure with certainty that all bugs and issues have been identified in a breaking and rectified itself during Stage 1.
Matic Network will be providing frequent progress updates to Matic Network community during this stage.
Stage 2 marks as the final hurdle before the mainnet of Matic Network is ready to launch, and all of from Matic team, Mitras, community couldn't be more excited!
