We Know That Big Change Sometimes Comes With A Need For Huge Answers

Today has been one of the busiest days for Visio's Slack, lots of questions and conversation about the upcoming InVisio ICO just announced yesterday. To alleviate concerns and to simply further help users grasp what these upcoming changes mean for Visio, we put together a FAQ for you through our developer and marketing team. We would also like to give a huge thanks to NICKL in our Slack for helping so much with gathering this helpful list of questions and answers through the community.

We understand that a lot of our users has hung in there with a lot of patience up to this stage and we hope the following faq answers will help users understand the concepts of where we are taking them with our platform and coming ICO. This will be a huge step for all to embark with us ahead and one we firmly believe will take Visio into a realm not many crypto's have dared to go. Remember our community is open to all and if you have further questions you can join our Slack and ask @sflaherty who runs our marketing anything and he will respond to you as promptly as possible. Also our community leaders Arty and Nickl are also happy to help with anything a user may need to know. Thanks everyone for backing this new move ahead, we will continue to work hard for all of you and bring Visio to the masses every day.

Upcoming InVisio ICO Faq

1. Since the announcement from 6-10-2017, what is happening?

Here you can find a good Steemit post explaining what the announcement is: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@visio/huge-announcement-visio-and-the-invisio-ico

2. Will there be a platform?

Yes, there will be a platform and it will be released before the InVisio ICO that is starting November the 1st.

3. What exactly will we get in return (token) wise for the Visio that we already hold with the coming of InVisio?

Everyone that hold Visio according to snapshot from block 380K will get the same amount of InVisio.

4. Who are the 12 new DEVs that are coming on board to the project? Does the community get to see their credentials, previous work and have a say in this?

The community will get information about their work and experiences, but not their identities. It's for their protection and ours, because after the platform releases we can expect some unwanted attention. Those 12 DEVs are people from our own company and have been working on big business-to-business projects in the financial sector so anonymity is needed to protect their work relations.

5. Why 12, because that's quite a lot?

We want to have so many to keep the process flowing in a timely manner and this will be a very complex system. We want to be able to deliver quality tech, but also deliver it as fast as possible to the public in order to keep ahead of any competitors.

6. What will the ICO be capped at?

Total Invisio Coin Supply: 100m InVisio's.
Development Planned Budget: 30-35m InVisio's.
Visio Holders : 15-20m InVisio's - free airdrop based on snapshots from block 380k till platform release (weighted average).
Pre-sale : 20m InVisio's - private offers, current holders will be preferred.

7. Why not do a small ICO, maybe capped at 1m$, which would at least cover for the first year, and have a proportion of the stakes going to the team for funding after that?

So asking big and hope that you get what you need is an area of concern for this project due to its ambitious nature. This is the last chance to ask for money before the whole sector will be (over) regulated by governments. Other means of financing will not be available in our opinion. We need the ICO because there will be a released platform soon and part of the ICO money will be used for its support and marketing. We want more money to enable faster growing and we need to grow fast before there will be most likely some alternative/competitor to establish a standard. Also we ask for this amount because people will not accept prices around the 1000 sats and it will support current Visio holders in the end (we expect prices in the 10-25K range).

8. Why do we need a new chain, why not do a swap, that is swap Visio coins for InVisio coins?

We need that active InVisio chain to better secure this system. InVisio will provide a better security being its own chain rather than an improvement secured feature on the already present Visio chain. It will strengthen and secure privacy much better residing these chains apart, but entwined.

9. How does InVisio improve the value of Visio?

InVisio will improve Visio, its users and content creators due to the security, privacy, and future proofing against quantum computing attacks down the line. The two chains would go hand in hand so the increased strengthening of the system through InVisio will benefit the content and its creators. Thus providing users using Visio a better adoption and growth.

10. Why do we need 100 million invisios?

The set amount of 100 million invisios has been used mainly for calculation and clear distribution summary. When you have an 8 decimal divisibility it actually doesn't matter on the amount due to the math.

11. Why are the DEVs not burning the unsold InVisios?

We don't expect a 100% sell off. The rest of the InVisio coins will not be burned, but will be used as collateral. Mainly to support stability and help to build community via supporting content creators. In fact when the Visio platform is public and we burn coins, it helps nobody. We believe if the unburned coins are used carefully to support the platform and especially their authors, then it should help everybody in the long run. Also, as will be explained later, there will be some 'striving for equilibrium' implemented into the future versions of the Visio Platform. So coins need to be approximated in the same amounts and the 'possibility of burning or transition' is key to keeping an much needed open access for the development team. Also burning of the rest of the remaining coins after the ICO is custom only for one reason. Investors are afraid that DEVs will sell their coins and it will damage their investment. But we feel that we have proven that we don't want to sell and run away. Our DEV has stated this personally from him to our community: "I have more Visio now than at the start. I also see a situation forming in crypto with incoming regulators on the whole industry. We will take every possible chance we can get to support this project so it has a longevity no matter what obstacles come our way." ~Fladirmacht

12. Will visios be accepted for the InVisio ICO?

Visios can be accepted, but it will be kind of counterproductive. When there is a constant ratio, it will not bring money inside, because Visio has no real liquidity at this stage. With the floating ratio, users will burn Visio for few sats when InVisio will end up costing +$2. We see no reason for direct trade ups of Visio for InVisio, because it will be 'part of the same' unified chain. Also we're doing the ICO for InVisio to bring money in from the outside to the inside. Visio itself can't bring in 'outside' money, because Visio is part of InVisio so it would be like putting money from the left pocket to the right pocket and could maybe just damage the project by traveling that route of finance. So in our DEVs personal opinion the best way is to accept Bitcoin 'for compatibility' and also Dash, Monero, Zcash and/or other 'privacy focused' coins, but this will be decided well before ICO release through community and team interaction.
