Looks like Counterparty is getting a new fork in the form of Counterparty Cash that will run on the BCH/Bitcoin Cash blockchain. For those who are unfamiliar, Counterparty runs on the BTC/Bitcoin blockchain and allows you to register and issue tokens. These tokens can be read by Counterparty-enabled BTC wallets. For example, if you hold Spells of Genesis cards, you are actually holding Counterparty tokens. Before this new wave of Ethereum games, Counterparty was driving most of the innovation in the game asset ownership arena. Getting a fork of the protocol on Bitcoin Cash is big news for gamers who like BCH and want to start developing games on it. This is definitely a project to keep an eye on.
CryptoBots looks like another CryptoKitties clone, this one involving battling little robots. So far they’re a little out of our price range, so if you buy and battle a bot let us know!
If you are someone who is interested in making a game on Ethereum using smart contracts but need some help, you may be interested in the BlockCAT Project and their community update. BlockCAT helps anyone, no matter your coding experience, create and deploy smart contracts on Ethereum.
Have we talked about Open Sea yet? It’s a peer-to-peer marketplace for digital goods like CryptoKitties and other collectibles.
Speaking of CryptoKitties, a new updates page has been put up by the dev team so users can see what’s brewing in the lab! Also, onyx has been unlocked!
