A father hurried back from the office to meet his lovely wife and their 30 months old baby.
Welcome honey! The wife said to the oga of the house.
There was food on the dining table for the man’s lunch… and the man did justice to the eba as a real African man.
Sweetheart, I would love to take something lighter for dinner, please come and get to the market before night falls. Now madam has gone out to buy thins for dinner, and oga is left to take care of the baby.
Sir now with his laptop in the living room busy surfing the net and doing some other online legalities and illegalities, and baby was busy doing what nature demands and going from chair to table to television even wants to climb on DADDYS Laptop.
Daddy being carried away by the internet as most of us shaa, just wanted babby to feel his presence and possibly allow his laptop screen to rest.
He started singing for him and carried him, throw up and catch back, baby became so happy and started chitchat with daddy in only GOD knows language.
Daddy wanted to engage him so he could continue his illegalities n legalities.
He said, aboy!!!! Give daddy water to drink!!!!!!!!
Babby smiled and answered oteyyyy
He brouth the first cup of water
Daddy received and drank
He brouth the second time
Daddy collected and emptied the cup
He brought the third time
Daddy received and drank and he immediately noticed a slight salty taste.
He held the babby and goooooood boy…….. now go n drop the cup am okey now….
Baby said again oteyyyy.
When baby went back to drop the cup,,, something struck daddy’s mind and he said….. baby where did you get the water from and baby said daddy tommm. Daddy followed and saw baby entered the toilet and fetch water again from the toilet water closet and give back to daddy. Immediately daddy did not need a prophet to tell him …..he had emptied already 3 good glasses of water from the same pool…. Daddy fainted.
MORAL LESSON.
• Do not sent a boy to do a man’s job else you will regret at the result
• It is not everyone that is fit for a particular task.
• Most times men fail in life not because they did not do the needful, but because they employ the wrong man for the right task.
