I can give you some reasons why it will, though based on other countries, not from the UK government inadequateness.
I am from the UK though residing in Poland.
The Polish people & government are very anti EU and want to leave, so are Hungary and the Czech Republic. I believe within 3 years all will be gone from the EU.
Italy also has a new anti EU government and wants to leave due to the crippling Euro debt, and sheer amount of undocumented Illegal entrants it is now forced to house at their own cost.
Greece is in the exact same condition as Italy, and both want their own currency back.
The next one out of the door from any of the above, brings down the whole stack, and the EU will be what it deserves to be, a relic of the past, inflexible, unbending and unfit for purpose.
