I just liked the original contests that started this - guess the cattributes of the offspring. They motivate people to learn about breeding and it's fair for everyone, not like those "funniest xyz" which is very subjective :)

Most ugly kitty
Most cute kitty
Most cute kitty under 0.1 ETH
Etc
Well it takes too much time to search the whole marketplace but it gives you lot of knowledge about various kitty genes

The thing that keeps scaring people off is that they don’t get that those kitties are still crypto assets that grow with the Network Effect. Just like any currency they are valuable as long as there are people who value them.

Thanks for cat! Not sure on new promotion. But it would be fun to tie two games together. Have a stock that gives kitties as dividends or accept cats as payment for stocks. haha
Ok for new contests ... I like the idea of a scavenger hunt. Look up something on Cryptokitties based on something from Etherstocks. For instance, send in a screenshot of a cat that sells for the same price as the price of cryp2 kitties. I guess maybe screen shots of both so you don't have to deal with different stock prices at different times. Then a series of tiebreakers for all "winning" entries based on the cat they match up. 1) lowest gen 2) lowest number cat ID 3) most jewels 4) either draw winner out of a hat or base on something subjective like cutest cat. Basic idea is to come up with something that involves going to both sites.
