Paytomat xo Steemit

Crypto market is crashing and it’s easy to distinguish true projects from imposters, who “are in for the technology”.
Hence, as a real-world project, we are interested in cooperating with real-value projects. Here comes Steemit!

Most of our readers should be familiar with Steemit. For those who have no idea (how did you get to this page then?), Steemit is a social media website that uses the blockchain and a cryptocurrency called Steem to reward participants.
You can make money on in two ways: by either writing quality blog posts or upvoting and commenting on posts. When you write a blog post you get a reward as an Author, and when you comment and upvote, you earn a reward as a Curator. Everyone can contribute, everyone can be bring value to this world. It’s brilliant, isn’t it?

How does a Steemit blogger might earn his living

  1. Write a blogpost
  2. Get attention and earn SBD – Steem dollar, that is priced at around $1 per token (though major fluctuations are possible)
  3. Exchange SBD to Steem cryptocurrency
  4. Exchange Steem into dollars/euro/fiat or BTC and buy yourself something nice (or ugly hat, everyone likes these today)

Seems complicated, right?

Hence, if a currency is meant to be a mean of exchange – it should be spendable in an instant. Definitely not through triple or even quadruple conversion.

That’s why we might want to consider integrating Steem tokens into the Paytomat payment ecosystem, so that any blogger could go and wash his car, have a cup of coffee or rent an apartment right on the spot.

However, let the community decide. If this post gets many upvotes than wait for some big news!

Sounds like a great plan to make STEEM more liquid...you've got my support!

Thank you! Let's do this:)

I just sent you a request to be a regional provider. Finance2o is the business name. Looking forward to to see if it makes to business together!

We believe we'll have productive cooperation;)

Sounds great! I'm definitely in support of this, but would SBD not be spendable through it? You don't have to convert to STEEM to send

I am the community liaison that introduced Paytomat to Steem, I am in touch with their team and have just emailed them this suggestion. It was a good one thanks.

It's great to have you promoting and building Steem projects and businesses @thecryptodrive!

Thanks old friend, I hope you have been well!

Hello and thank you for bridging two great projects together!

Thank you for this initiative, we are considering this possibility as well. We will try to integrate SBD in the next batch of technical upgrades, will keep you posted!

@buildteam and @steemvoter support the initiative of listing Steem on https://paytomat.com and hereby sponsor Steemvoter (SV) Guild votes on behalf of the Steem community.

Note: You should receive many guild votes soon!

This would be lovely. I tend to save most of my STEEM, but it would still be amazing to be able to buy a cup of coffee with it while working on my next blog post. I see that we are already at 800+ upvotes, which is a pretty big chunk of the active user base.

Yes, nothing beats morning coffee bought with crypto:)

Happy to hear you guys are interested in integrating Steem into your system! To promote mainstream adoption, I believe it's important to make spending Steem as simple as possible for as many people as possible. Right now, as you mentioned, it's a bit complicated and you have to jump through some hoops to actually spend it. Your service could help a lot of people!

We are doing our best, thank you!

BIG NEWS ARE COMING! Thanks everyone for your feedback we are moving in the right direction:)

It would be so awesome to see STEEM and SBD integrated with your service :) Please do it! :)

PS. Our community has a convention to distinguish Steem and STEEM.

  • Steem - network/blockchain
  • STEEM - a token

Just mentioning this, because a lot of people are not aware of that :)

Most people still seem to have problems understanding the difference between Steem and Steemit, so this difference is going to be even more difficult to get people to accept. But it's good to see that you are other are trying to educate the people about it :)

Now I have to research paytomat and see what they’re about.
I like the idea of paying for things from crypto into the real world... or off then net

If you have any questions feel free to ask, we'll be glad to tell you more about our product;)

You got my vote!

It means a great deal to us:)

Hey!!
thanks for using the steem blockchain to post your story
You got a small upvote from me, I hope it will help you and the whole community to thrive.

Hi! Thank you for upvoting:)

my pleasure :)

Sounds great to have another Fiat - Steem exchange as an option.

Not exactly. You won't have to exchange Steem into Fiat, you'll be able to go and spend it:)

Yes! I support this. Followed, upvoted, re-steemed!

Thank you for your support, we appreciate it a lot:)

Awesome! Glad you guys can give Steemit another option. I'm interested to see what countries you operate in to convert to fiat. Will Mexico be on that list? I'd love to be able to promote you as an option for them to get to the Peso when I'm promoting Steemit here. There are limited bitcoin exchange options at the moment.

Great that's an idea that has to be considered by the whole community

Personally the rewards on the steem blockchain should be the last thing mentioned. Instead my feeling is community should be highlighted. Fun with contests and, oh by the way, did we mention that folks could receive rewards in the form of the crypto currency STEEM?

It gladdens me to see the reward only seeking users have jumped ship in this bear market. Good riddance! We certainly should not be encouraging more and focusing on payments in my opinion.

What about anti-censorship? No data mining? There are a ton of reasons for good contributors coming onboard with the added bonus that they could get rewarded.

My thoughts on recruitment, anyway.

I agree with this. Steem has been branded as the blockchain where you can get hundreds of dollars for low quality posts long enough, and it attracted the wrong crowd. There's so many better things to promote about Steem!

No data mining = less profitability for ads = no ads = no external fiat income streams = Ponzi = prize goes to zero eventually.

It's definitely possible to have ads without data mining. It's just not as profitable as with data mining. But Steemit.com could easily display somewhat relevant adds by tying the adds to the tags for the post. So if a post is tagged with lots of food tags, it could display food ads, which would likely not be that ineffective compared to targeted ads.

There could be some algorithmic analysis of the post content as well. But I think it's a question of time when someone implements mining based on all user data. It's all public and freely available after all and has been from the start.

Just do it :)

Great to have you here. I look forward to seeing Steem on Paytomat!

Although the volatility and the price drops of STEEM (and all cryptos ) is sucking more and more blood to dev's and nodes maintainer, as well content creators leveraging their post worth, still the Steem community is more solid than ever, and by the help of all communities within the blockchain, ecommerce industries and merchants, we can pass this crypto winter unscathed.

Yes, help us bring cryptocurrency to mainstream adoption as a means of currency. With its zero fees, and fast transaction time, STEEM is the most ideal for online business.

It will also help in the liquidity of cryptos, as it purs into peer to peer transactions.

yes, that's the main idea, to bribg liquidity through mass adoption

I 100% agree.

More liquid ity is more power. We need that
