Good afternoon Ethereum Enthusiasts and congrats on surviving fun Friday. Took me a little too long to clean the pub this morning after such a party yesterday but you have to make it rain sometimes.
This morning, BTC is leading the way to a good start to the weekend with early morning (EST) highs just shy of 11k and some good scalping volatility. Everything else seems modestly flat with privacy coins (XMR, Dash) doing a bit better and the off fun coin making some hops.

We will take a closer look at BTC as a key indicator for the market as a whole in this interesting time. A fairly close perspective is the 6 hour chart which is showing a nice up-channel that is sneaking into ascending wedge territory. The price keep leaping hurdles in the form of trend-based and local resistance levels. On the STOCH, it is clearly over bought and due for a correction while the MACD is at the highest levels since BTC was around 17k and due for a reversal. BITCOIN is the gateway drug for crypto though and has ignored technical analysis in the past. If it keeps trucking, we will grab a round of pitchers and bag up some of that sweet sweet duck-fat popcorn and watch the fireworks at 11.5 and 12k.

On the daily chart, you can see we are overbought as hell (with a nice little hop on the top grind) and approaching the old trend line that used to be support and may prove to be resistance now which is bearish. Contrarily, the MACD looks to be in a healthy upswing and you can't see the reverse head and shoulders zoomed out but this is bullish short term at least.

Personal daily trading strategy - Stay away from BTC (except 15 minute scalps) and cash out of ETC and LTC in profit, scoop some privacy coins in a dip and get to approx 66% fiat.
