The ELEAGUE Major Boston semi-finals began with the match between FaZe Clan and Natus Vincere. The karrigan team, who won 2-0, turned out to be better and went to the Grand Final!
Inferno
The first semi-final began with the victory of the pistol round by anti-terrorists, that is the team FaZe Clan. NiKo had the biggest influence on the victory, which eliminated three rivals. After a while, on the scoreboard we had 3: 0, which is the standard team lead, which turned out to be better in the pistol. In the end, however, the time has come for the first full-time Natus Vincere. It did not go well, which made FaZe increase its advantage over Zeus and the company. At the first point scored by Na'Vi we waited for the seventh clash. In it flamie, which yesterday had an amazing form, beautifully behaved in situation 1v2 and successfully left the clutch. Unfortunately for the formation from the CIS - FaZe region, Clan answered in the next round and hence reset their economics. It meant enormous problems on the part of the terrorists, because the next time they were fully equipped, they could play only in the eleventh cover. It turned out, however, that s1mple did not need to wait for a full house to start his return. In clutch 1v2, he first liquidated the karrigan, then raised the AWP and in a duel with NiKo he managed perfectly. This time Na`Vi took over and followed the blow. It did not allow FaZe to win another round. In the end, Natus Vincere from 2: 8 made 7: 8, so it's safe to say that it was not the worst down payment for them, looking what their beginning was.
After changing sides, it's time for a second pistol round. Na'Vi needed it, but the conscious mind of this FaZe did not allow the victory of Zeus and the company. Although the anti-terrorists were close to surprise opponents during the anti-terrorist round, but ultimately nothing came of it and before the first round in which both teams were fully equipped, FaZe Clan won 11: 7. In fact, it was until the very end that Natus Vincere was not able to fight as equals. Edward and the company after the weak start of the second half did not rise as they did in the first and had to recognize the superiority of the enemy. FaZe won at Inferno with a score of 16: 9, so as you can see - with eight points scored by Karrigana formation after the break, Na`Vi won only two.
Mirage
The second map began with a very tight pistol round, in which Natus Vincere finally triumphed! All thanks to the great disposition of s1mple, who once again proved how strong the player is. He remained in situation 1v3 and he managed to eliminate three remaining terrorists. Thanks to this, Na`Vi got into the match well, not what was on the first map, and the rounds were different at once, because confidence on the side of FaZe was not that high. Before full number one, the formation from the CIS region ran 3: 0. Terrorists immediately took charge of themselves and began to make up for losses. After a while, they were even on a very good road to draw a 3: 3 draw, but they prevented them ... Zeus! The leader Natus Vincere won a very heavy clutch with the same CZ75 pistol. After a fairly even start, FaZe imposed its pace. From the 5: 5 result it got 10: 5 for the karrigan and the company.
FaZe Clan has worked very well on the CT side. In fact, a pistol was enough for them to quickly finish the second map victorious and advance to the Grand Final. It turned out, however, that the beginning of the number two half would not be one-sided at all. He was very fierce and we had a situation in which both teams went head to head. Na'Vi won the pistol first, then FaZe responded, and then again Natus Vincere was better, but not for long, because the next point was won by FaZe Clan. After this exchange, the Karrigan and company were leading 12: 7 and despite the fierce start, they still had a better situation than their opponents. They did not even give away one point to the end - they won 16: 7!
FaZe Clan, thanks to the victory of Na`Vi, was promoted to the Major Major in Boston. During this rank of the tournament in Krakow they failed to go to play-offs. They drew conclusions and now they are one step away from raising the most prestigious cup!
