The Miami Mayor has suggested that the United States should consider military air strikes against Cuba right now as protests erupt against the communist dictatorship there.
People outside of Cuba have also protested in areas like Orlando to show their support for the people in Cuba.
They are reportedly protesting communist oppression and there are videos circling online that allegedly show authorities in the region kidnapping teenagers from their homes.
Various tweets, videos, and other messages are being shared detailing the events unfolding in the region under the tag #SOSCUBA
So far one person has been reported dead in the protests in Cuba. And some say that now there is no turning back.
It's alleged that dozens of protesters have been taken into custody by officials there but thousands have been protesting on the streets and online, spilling out into other parts of the world.
But U.S. military intervention is not what is needed and could easily end up harming innocent people, doing more harm than any supposed good.
Supporters are busy organizing supplies, sending food, water, and whatever help that they can.
For many the time has finally arrived for them to protest against their police state, prompting some to suspect that revolution might finally be coming.
Military intervention almost never give good results. You have to cut off supplies to government and you need to help protestors with supplies. Just food and other non-violent help will matter a lot. You don't need to send guns to support an uprising against commie governments.

Everyone saying military is not the answer is a coward who has never lived under communism
The US boycot has caused the country to be empoverished next to the failing socialist economy. I loved my holiday there and the people are friendly. Life is or was pretty good untill corona hit tourism.
Actually decentralized airstrikes and removing communist regime would be a great thing. Cuba was never supposed to be governed by Cubans on some small island sorry thats too strategically important. America deserves ro have Cuba back under our sphere of influence so we don't have another missile crisis type situation.
Cuba and venezuela will all use hive and telos and starlink soon so we can airstrike virtually with @challengedac airdrops lol

Your comment is really hilarious. That Cuba should not be governed by us? JAJA, what is the next thing you will say? That our natural state is to be ruled by someone superior? Who are you Loki? Or descendant of Hitler? Do you know what democracy is?
We are not perfect and we certainly have loads of problems. But to say what you say surely you also think that the best thing for an endangered species is for humans to take care of everything about them. Especially since it was humans in the first place that caused the problems.
Likewise, those who supposedly want to help and save us, are the ones who originally and continuously are the one who hurts us. But that line of thinking is very American. Americans are the heroes of the planet,

Very good friends
Cuba is certainly a country with lots of problems of all kinds. Lacks of many, many things, some simple and others very serious. Whose fault is it is also irrelevant, guilt will not help anyone either.
I also clarify that I am Cuban and that I also live here, in the center of the problem. Because it is very easy to shout from afar and demand from afar. I am not taking away anyone's rights, but whoever is no longer here has no vote for me. Long live your luck to leave Cuba quietly in your other place.
90% of the things that people know about what is happening in Cuba is false or disproportionately exaggerated. Yes, there have been protests. Yes, there have been riots and some violent acts. But things are not remotely as the international news says.
And I am not being guided by the supposed "manipulated" press and television. I repeat that I live here, in the center of everything. I live in the capital city of the Ciego de Avila province. I have no evidence from other provinces, but I can assure you that nothing is happening in my city. I have been working in the mornings for two days (only in the morning because of the Covid) with total normality. And yesterday, I went out to some markets in the morning to buy some food and everything is normal on the street. People queuing to buy things and walking normally through the streets.
Not everything is rosy, of course. The situation with the covid is really complicated. There is a lack of food, medicine, there are more and more restrictions due to the pandemic and hospitals are in serious trouble. That's true.
But that situation that is being talked about internationally that it seems that there is a civil war in Cuba is honestly laughable.
Airstrikes? Imagine if a foreign country launched airstrikes against the US ik response to the 2020 BLM protests or January 6th. I don't think anything would unite people behind the government against that foreign aggressor faster.
