Tribalism is anti-progress, I see tribalists as those with little minds who can't see the bigger picture. They are all trapped in their small tribalistic world where their tribe reigns supreme.

Little minds is a perfect description, funny thing is that I have them as friends and I try to lecture them on their folly.
That's so sad, if deeply entrenched, it's hard to change them from their ways.
