Understanding Ancient Cultures and Time Cycles - Culture Shot #3

in #culture6 years ago

We have been thought to think of Egypt as a civilization whose golden age occurred two or three thousand years before Christ. Imagining this magnificent culture makes us wonder whether we have got the timeline right. World cultures have a myth that speaks about the high level of consciousness, superior science, art, and architecture from eons ago.

Many cultures think on a vast different scale when the time is concerned. In Indian tradition and in 30 other cultures a 26 000 years cycle is accepted. The Egyptians provided us with concrete evidence that describes political events from a far more distant past than we can imagine. The Egyptians themselves in at least one stone tablet the Palermo stone (image below)

and one papyrus the Turin papyrus (image below)

they say that ancient Egypt is much older than the Egyptologists think it is.

So why do we consider civilization to be only 6 000 years old?

For example, in Caral, Peru when 6 pyramid structure was being discovered, scientist assumed it was being built by Incas because that was only 500 years ago and Incas built most of South America. However, when they got carbon dating, it showed it is 4 700 years old. This blows a hole in current history theory.

If we consider the data coming from astronomy, geology, astrology, and climatology we can arrive at new conclusions about the chronology of ancient Egypt. The traditional date that Egyptologists claim the Great Pyramid was built in 2550 b.c. Carmen Boulter Ph.D., new age open-minded scientist uses effective metaphor saying :

If you painted your house last in 2003, that doesn’t mean your house was built in 2003.

Nowadays, some scientists claim the Great Pyramid is old more than 12 000 years. This is mind-blowing!

How do we approach the age?

There are the variety of methods- like archeological datings, which means you look at artifacts that you can fit into the chronology, but this can be very deceiving because it required a lot of interpretation. However, this is the method that is being used the most. The other is carbon dating, but with many of the places, there is no carbon datable material. Carbon-14 dating works only on organic materials., but simply touching organic materials contaminates a sample. Stone cannot be carbon dated.

Precessional astronomy

There is another form of dating which is to use precessional astronomy. Are there actually markers that connect to the movement of the stars? You know that our planet makes one spin in 24 hours. Furthermore, our planet also revolve in different way. Precession is the motion on the axis of the Earth which wobbles like a spinning top due to gravitational pull. If you have monument for example the temple of ISIS at Dendra, this temple is sure aligned with rising of Sirius. If we have certainty that the temple has it’s axis aligned to the rising of the star, then we can date very simple, we can measure it in a matter of minutes. This is known as precessional astronomy. Plato called the precessional cycle of 26 000 years a Great Year. The Great Year is Plato’s term for this vast cycle of time. One Eon. On precession of the equinox. There are 200 myths that talk about this cycle of alternating dark and golden ages. 30 different cultures have passed down those myths from time to time. They all are related to the movement of the stars. Even Isac Newton wrote a book on it trying to match history to each of the constellations of the zodiac and it was wiped out by the Darwinian evolution paradigm which came along less than 200 years ago. With Darwinian theory, it became unacceptable that culture that lived long before us might know something that we don’t know.

On different continents, cultures came up with the same ideas. There is a certain science of cycles. That’s embedded into the world age doctrine of the Maya. You find it nicely paralleled in Egyptian ideas as well as the Hindu world age doctrine known as the YUGAS.

Our idea now is that human being today is superior to the human beings from our past. Some scientist claim that simply is not true. They are explaining it through fact that cycles go through periods of increase and periods of decrease.

I will elaborate about Mayas, Egypt and meaning of Hindu Yugas in my upcoming “Culture shots”, as I am so excited to share discovered knowledge that is part of our ancient civilizations, that I am very interested about and researching for the past 10 years. Our school was giving us wrong data. It is time to educate ourselves.

Be blissful.

As a conspiracy theorist, there have been ETs more superior and humans are allegedly engineer species to serve them just like Illuminati cults serve the Vril Reptilian.

Yes, I have heard about it too. But I also think our ancestors knew the nature much better than us. They were more aware.

The most interesting topic that I've read today.
I've watch a few historic documentaries anout the Mayans and Incans but never heard of YUGAS.
Nice to know and looking forward to read more

Thank you. Yugas are actually time periods of our solar system orbiting around the central Sun or black hole. I will write about that too. :)
