the whole $100 is given to the author and the $50 is the only one to be split between the author and curator rewards
Yes this one due to the penalty. Most posts give out less than 20% curation rewards, its quite uncommon to see any at exactly 25%, it would mean most votes would have had to appear after the 30 minute mark like the one in the screenshot on my post.
