Hello Steemians!
In 2009 I brought my band down for the very first time to Colombia, my second home, after a 10 year hiatus. We were one of the featured international acts for the Jazz al Parque festival in Bogotá. We had just arrived directly from Barranquilla and our shuttle came 2 hours late to pick us up. When we got there we had to run up on stage and start playing with virtually no soundcheck. We were troopers back in those days so we were able to roll with the punches...in the end we gave the audience a good show. The guys in the band were (and still are to this day) all exceptional world-class musicians.
