Hello Steemit, hope you are all experiencing good health. We #Indiaunited are an open group comprising of Indians and other people from various parts of the world but mostly Indians. However, we can also provide access to anyone who wants to join our discord group.
Mission
This community was created by @bobinson, @rainsa and others as a platform few Indians coming together for the purpose of supporting individual growth on Steemit. Along with the same, we are focusing on promoting quality content, rewarding under valued content from artists, writers, photographers, musicians etc. We propose to support everyone and especially people from India and those who have interests in its culture, arts, history etc.
Being the diverse country that we are and our unique nature of accomodating all cultures since times unknown, we will attempt to have the same with @IndiaUnited
Building this community has contributed to the growth and consistency of Steemit members in its own little way.
It has also benefitted from close interaction and bonding between people from different cultures.
We are here to encourage minnows too with our tips/experience that our community members possess and also encouraging the quality post through generous upvotes through our curation series.We are looking to make a serious impact on the Steemit community in every little way we can.
Curating content
We know that Indians are struggling individually on Steemit and may possibly get bored and discouraged when their quality posts do not get the required attention (payout). We Indiaunited (discord group) is here to push our Indian community into one unitedindia group so that we can grow together.
One of the best methods to increase rewards is to manually curate the content, share it using common accounts & incentivise my community upvotes. Thsi will not only improve the earnings, but also it will amplify the reach of good content internationally.
We are setting forth guidelines worth following as they encourage Quality Content on Steemit that will not only entertain people but also be informative at the same time so that our readers can be informed and entertained at the same time.
While for the author's these are guidelines, for the curation team, this will act as Rules to abide and select good content.
Frequency of curation
We will be curating content twice per week to begin with. On Tuesday and Friday. Changes will be made if required.
Rules
- First rule is - no copying, no copy right violation of text content, photos, videos or any other art work in any form.
- Any art work included MUST have its source mentioned (citation), acknowldeging the original author's work (attribution). Further, the original art work should have liceing terms that allows re-sharing.
- Each user is expected to use/implement markdown editing style, so as to create readbale, well formatted posts.
- All works should be properly sourced if there is any, inability to source a work you got online means you are claiming ownership of that work. So please, do remember to source it ( whatever it may be ) as nobody would be happy if his or her work was copied without any acknowledgement being provided to them.
- Citing Google as source will not be acceptable
- The use of pictures is absolutelyly welcomed as they are able to explain certain things better than just mere words. As they say a picture is like/worth a thousand words.
- Create a post centered around the selected tag united india your other tags as you deem fit. Each post should be dropped at the discord channel as well. Obviously but it had to be stated here.
- Posts needs to have good grammar, be informative and entertaining and original. More than 75% of the content should be original in any case.
- Original artworks gets high priority even if length and other criteria's are not met - say a painting, work of an upcoming photographer, work of an upcoming musician
- Original Photographs with informational content are most welcome - historical places, incidents, travelogues etc.
- Random photos of a travel doesn't qualify to be a travelogue. It should have a documentation of the socio-economical and geographical aspects of the area and similar content to supplement photographs.
- Portraits and other photographs should have EXIF and equipment information to make sure that its not plagiarized.
- Photos must portrays life style, culture etc - but should NOT be just a random photo of someone working in a field.
- At this point of time, we will be able to consider only posts in English and soon we will start curating regional languagues as well.
More rules will be added as the group evolves as this is an idea under development …

How does @indiaunited intend to do this?
I know you are wondering how a new account with such reputation and low sp will be able to accomplish a curation project!!
Well, the team behind this intend to make a donation towards this project for sp delegation so as to support the Indian Steemit community. Few people have generously done this already and requests others to join the effort.
We also have auto-curation trail and other plans to make the rewards better.
