Wow, I really appreciate your step towards helping minnows. Previously authors were dependent on Curie curators for their original content to be upvoted and sometimes some contents could not be curated and vanished in the bottom of new posts section.
But now with this method (however, experimental), authors can submit their own posts if they are very much confident of.
This will really boost the amount of original posts on steemit and probably reduce spam and low quality content.

Thank you :) we really appreciate it, we just need to see how it goes I think, when people start using the system we will see how we can change it to benefit the community and to further improve and incentivize top quality posts here on Steem!
Yeah, this will also improve the reputation of hardworking people and people with outstanding knowledge and talent.
