Sunday Word of Comfort: Shaping your destiny

What is shaping? Shaping means to mold an object into a desired shape. It will interest you to know that God is the chief porter which means He had determine your destiny but you have every right to discover and determine the outcome of your destiny. God design but you are given right to determine the shape and the re-shaping of your destiny. Our destiny is always in our hands because we have right to determine the outcome of our destiny.

We've been given the ability to mould our destinies. However the best way is to involve God in the mouldings to have desired results.

Nigeria's raggea artist dies today, Sunday, 10th June, 2018. He died after a very brief illness at the Lagoon Hospital at Ikoyi-Lagos. He had planned to travel to the US for a medical trip before his death. This has thrown the Nigerian music industry into morning.

The legendary reggae artiste RAS Kimono is dead. May his gentle soul rest in peace

Z-Zakat: The benefits of giving to the poor in the Holy month

Zakat is the third pillar of Islam. It means obligation charity or legal alms to the poor. It's one of the obligatory duties which a Muslim who is financially and materially qualified should perform.

Giving to the poor should be one of our way of life. We could only feel what they're passing through when we have nothing like them. As long we have the opportunity, let's learn to give unconditionally
