Nobody uses that really, It's hidden on a tab somewhere.
That's all, folks.
Bonus:
Given we have curation reward scheme, Steem include a complex game to predict what content will be upvoted before the fact.
We're lucky it's only 25% of the reward because it's not actually a fun game for human to play into who mostly want to enjoy content and upvote and downvote whenever feel like..
Curation wise I tend to ignore the curation rewards and treat Steem like Reddit if I like it I upvote and I’ll only ever downvote if I REALLY hate something. On Steem over the years I’ve downvoted less than ten times I believe but upvotes thousands of posts.
Overall, I think of it like this. If a post, or comment is good and I vote on it, even if I get no curation reward, the votes add value to Steem as a crypto and increase the value of the Steem I hold.

These are altruistic signals, which I guess matters to the extent that altruism is a better signal than not. I don't think Steem is all the altruistic - perhaps egoistic altruism.
Bonus: curation is a fun prediction game for algorithms. Not reliable for content discovery, though still motivating enough for humans to play - maybe.
A UI could hide most of this stuff and just let users vote as they please while taking care of converting that to rshares by burning VP behind the scenes. I guess people like the crypto $ signs though?!
