Color Grading doesn't always have to be extreme. It's all about creating a look and feel for a video. For these shots, I wanted a warm summer vibe and as you can see the Rec 709 (base look) wasn't too far off from the start. It just needed some exposure and color adjustments to get it to where I wanted it.
Having a cooler tone in the shadows and warmer tones in the highlights and getting it to not only look and feel right but also natural and not overdone is the biggest challenge
