Alrighty, im doing this a bit late since i was busy with my music i promised to catch up on for a while now. 😘
Ill try to shorten the introduction text this time where im explaining the idea.
WHAT THIS IS ABOUT:
Im having these weekly showcases of Steemians i found to be quality bloggers and promote their work.
This i will try to achieve through my attempt to expand the reach of this series, by having a giveaway and using bots to get some exposure for the series and the bloggers that are featured. With that i will be attempting to raise awareness on the sensible use of bots by rewarding those that participate with a pretty little upvote from either @minnowbooster or @smartsteem.
GIVEAWAY RULES:
- Comment on and resteem this post
- Have at least 1 post with a pending payout on your blog.
..... Receive the 4.3 or higher upvote from a bot of my choosing if Pick.esteem.ws favors you. :D
The post in question does not need to be exceptional Curie level of quality. It just needs to be "good enough".
Since its my giveaway youll just have to trust my judgement. 😘
This upvote wont take you to trending but it will give you a nice boost in visibility.
My method of choosing my picks:
Instead of highlighting a particular post, ill be looking at the weekly uploads and blog history, taking into account consistency and quality and offering an insight why i think this particular blogger deserves attention.
When making my picks i wont be looking at rating, age of the blog, post payouts, etc...
So lets get into it

Well i had to add Tom to my list of Steemians i love. What can you say about Tom? Hes an amazing person, a mod for Adsactly discord channel, a travel enthusiast, a motorcycle guy, writer, id even say amateur photographer since he does make some great shots. (one i like in particular ill put right here)
He curates a lot of great content from other steemians but most of all, his blog stands out for his "Travels with Connie" series. And he does travel a lot. The thing about it i love the most is the diversity in areas he visits: From beaches to post-apocalyptic looking areas that look like they come from one of those post-nuclear war video games.
Browsing through the series you just get that relaxing feeling and you wonder where he might go next, and im positive he works hard to rarely retrace his steps. 🌟
Go say hi to him and im sure he will have some wonderful comment lined up for you. :D

This is another artist i think deserves the attention. I first noticed him weeks ago with his "Android Steven Seagal" art. We talked a few times on discord, tried to help him a bit, and i was positive he was going to get that big upvote he deserved very soon. He did a series of those drawings and they are extremely interesting to look at. He has a great attention to detail and the choices he makes in those are really amazing. There is so much amazing art here on Steemit and it really helps when you find a way to differentiate yourself from others with unique ideas like this.
He also started to do a series lately of "DragonBall" art with everyday objects. His last one received a Curie and it was well deserved. The contrast of the objects to the drawings really makes, what he does, unique and special. I just hope the CDs that he used didnt have something important on them. haha.
Like i always say with steemians that like to "mix it up": "Cant wait to see what more he comes up with.
Ok, so first thought when someone sees this would be: "Are you crazy? Why would you want to attract negative attention to your blog and kill your payout?". Trust me i get it, but i did say this series has no restrictions on whos going to be on here. Just give me a min to try and explain why hes on the list.
The Steemit ecosystem is in a bit of trouble lately due to bot abuse, reward pool abuse, whale wars, drama etc. All the guys that participate in the drama have created a sort of "arena" of their own where few venture due to fear of retaliation.
The reason im bringing him up is because i started this series to try and raise awareness on sensible bot use, fairness in our conduct on Steemit, and the necessity of more people coming into this discussion, that affects all of us. Fear should not be an excuse.
Ok so about Bernie:
When venturing into the heavy subject category, nothing is black and white, but i rather try to take into account if someone is either a Net positive or a Net negative . I dont always agree with him and i think he doesnt really care much about people liking him/hating him, but if you take away specific names Bernie goes after, you get this:
- He is openly discouraging rampant self upvoting,
- He calls out witnesses that dont do enough for the platform
- He promotes a great new initiative "Comedy openmic", with his own money at that.
- He bot upvotes to raise awareness on bot abuse, knowing he will probably be taking a loss on those posts.
All those things go into the "positive" realm and far exceed the things like: flagging disagreeing opinions or people he dislikes. Hell, even i got a flag from him few days ago.
The important thing here is that he is extremely influential and he appears to be "fighting for the right thing" (in his own way) placing his monetary well being on Steemit into a secondary slot. Something i dont think many are willing to do. He does "operate" in a somewhat toxic arena due to the conflicts that arise when dealing with such topics... but dont all heavy topics have a toxic mist surrounding them?
#all photos are linked from the blogs in question or free to use from google.
Cool idea
This is a very fun idea! I like the mix of people you've got on here too, and appreciate that you're not afraid of the potentially controversial. I particularly love @pluridimensional's creative Dragonball series, that's hilarious!
Looking forward to seeing some more of your lists :D
Im glad you liked it. :D
Steemit was acting up these last few days so seems this one passed over unnoticed. Maybe for the best hahaha.
It's an honor to be listed. Thank you!
Well you deserved to have a few things said. :D
