Kenyan Currency have 5 denominations with 6 coins. Kenyan currency first came into being in 1966 which was first used by Arab Influence.

The Kenyan currency is the most stable currencies in East Africa. The economy of Kenya is growing rapidly unless COVID weakens the economy again.

Denominations of Kenyan Currency:

The official currency of Kenya is Shilling. The largest of the note is 1000KES, which is equal to 8.9442508 US Dollars at current time. Second largest note is 500KES which is equal to 4.4721224 US Dollars.

Denominations of the Small notes:

200KES is the third largest note of Kenya which is equal to 1.7889109 US Dollars. The smallest denominations are 100KES, 50KES which are equals to 0.89445546 and 0.4472236 US Dollars.

The other currency includes coins which has six denominations such as 50cents, 40, 20, 10 and 5 and 1 shillings.. The Kenyan currency is 1 kenyan Shilling equals to 0.0089447353 US Dollars as of 10-Nov-2021.
