I have mixed feelings about government doing this. At the same time, the threat of having infrastructure attacked is not only real, but probably in progress.
I don't think there's a way around it. It's either get screwed over by government, or get screwed by a foreign entity.
Truly a lesser-of-two-evils dilemma.
