The attacks seem to be increasing and the crooks may just exploit tools they buy. Companies and services need to protect themselves better as just losing their systems for a while can be expensive. I heard of a trucking company that went bust after an attack locked up their data. Attacking schools and hospitals is just nasty.

I fear it will get far worse before people realize extreme actions are needed to address ransomware.
