Ian and Chris were joined by Simon to swell the peloton from Bilbao. Today's stage would be shorter but considerably wetter!
After waving off the cyclists we joined our own peloton waiting for the supermarket to open.
Second breakfast was due to be atop a lovely cove:
But the weather forced us to retreat to a cafe. We then had a chance to explore while the cyclists continued.
A lunch stop involving a ridiculously cheap 3 course meal brought us back together.
Before we jumped ahead to tonight's finish just west of Santander.
Unfortunately the boys were greeted with a downpour!

Thanks, today has turned out to be lovely but the forecast doesn't suggest it'll continue. Oh well, it's still an adventure!
