We woke to more rain despite forecasts suggesting otherwise. The boys waited for a lull and then set out on the journey from Mogro to Ribadesella.
We arrived in San Vincente de la Barquera to snow topped mountains in the distance and a grey 8 degrees.
Fortunately the clouds cleared and the sun showed up for the arrival of the peloton.
Fully charged with sun and churros it was time to head off to Llanes. We managed to capture the peloton on their ascent from our break.
We found a lovely beach at Llanes with space for us to lunch from the car.
A smiley happy peleton then set off into the sunshine on the last leg of the day.
The sun stayed with us all the way to Ribadesella. What a difference the sun makes to the scenery and the spirits! Not sure it's going to hold for tomorrow's leg.
