Today in the morning, my husband and I were transplanting two papaya plants that I had in a pot. They were already about 20 centimeters tall and it was necessary to move them to the ground in order for them to grow and bear fruit. I wish I could bear fruit in December, to make our traditional green papaya sweet, but I doubt it, they are still small. It will be for Easter that I aspire to be able to harvest. Here I show you two photos, I must tell you that after taking them I had to put protection on them, because Mr. Morrocoy saw them as a delicacy and actually tried to eat one.
They are somewhat ugly, but they had the roots very tight in the pot. Now that they are on the ground they can grow what they want.
I have four yellow cherry trees, also known as star currants (Phyllantus acidus). Due to climatic disorders, this year a terrible plague of worms fell on them, which even ate the bark of their branches and trunks. After they had nothing else to consume, since it is an exclusive pest of this plant and being completely bare of leaves, I suppose they died. From there and thanks to the increase in rainfall, my trees turned green again. Today I was reviewing them and I could see their minimal flowers and one or two cherries on the mother plant, but I also saw the butterfly that gives rise to these nefarious green worms with yellow and black. I don't know their name, but they are terrible. I hope they don't come back. Here I bring you two photos, it took me a lot to take them because they fly very fast.

Hola amiga!! @sirenahippie que lindos arboles de cereza, aqui en mi estado se da muy poco la lechoza si, ademas que la lechoza es un fruto muy completo, por cierto no se ven feitas jejej se estan renovando!!! saludos!!
Disculpa que no te había respondido, no me he conectado casi nada en 10 días. Sí, tengo 4 árboles de cereza amarilla y 2 de cereza roja. Ah bueno, me encanta que digas que no están feítas las matas de lechoza, sin embargo tuve que atrincherarlas porque el Sr. Morrocoy su familia se las querían merendar. Un gran saludo.
No había visto una mata de lechosa, ahora en el nuevo espacio, rodeadas de otras plantas y nutriendose del sol y la tierra estoy segura de que crecerán pronto para que puedas recoger sus frutos ☺️; yo amo el dulce de lechoza 🤗
Sí, tengo muchas plantas en mi solar, las transplantamos de manera que reciban la mayor cantidad de luz durante el día. A mí me encanta también ese dulce, lo preparo con hojas de higo o con piña y queda delicioso.
Waoooo que rico, ahora quedé antojada de comer dulce de lechosa, no como desde diciembre del año pasado 😯

Sí, aunque este año el solar no está en todo su esplendor. El año pasado parecía un bosque encantado, estaba precioso. Este año el desorden climático y las plagas han hecho huella en él. Me alegra que te gusten mis maticas. Gracias por pasar por aquí. Un abrazo.
Amo a Sr Morrocoy, él definitivamente es un personaje me lo imagino queriendo devorar las matitas de lechosa.
Aquí en la Urbanización teníamos palmas y le cayó una plaga horrible de gusanos era impresionante escuchar como se comían la planta durante la noche, la cantidad de gusanos era sorprendente.
Sí, @actioncats, él es muy particular, pero es súperpasado, tuve que atrincherar las maticas con unos troncos y bloques. Ayer tomé fotos de sus familias, próximamente les estaré mostrando a la tribu en pleno. Lo de las matas de tu urbanización, te puedo decir, que este año 2020, al igual que las plagas que le han caído a los humanos, a las plantas y animales también les han caído. Yo tuve una peste de cochinilla algodonosa y de los gusanos que casi secaron a los cerezos, pero a Dios gracias ya no están. Gracias por pasar por aquí, amiga. Un gran abrazo.
