This is my first #dailyceletialchallenge organised by @sirknight.
so darkness could be analysed as simply the absence of light,different many people have different perception of the term, could be in terms of science(illumination), religious, artistic and even societal too,but relating it to the society of today, some persons would agree with me that darkness has taken over, the dark side of leadership seems to be veryy common in the society today
leaders care only for themselves and immediate family and as long as you not in that circle you are in darkness, bribery and corruption eating out the light and feeding more darkness to the society.
Therefore we could also say darkness is the "absence of love". Everyone one wants to see, but yet noting is been shown, those in lower power have to struggle out of this societal darkness and eventually when they get out they get infected by the same darkness they once experienced and complained about, they become selfish with what they have made. Therefore until humans love their neighbors as they love themselves the darkness would eventually eat every one up, and at the end there would be absolutely noting to show but conflict which could even lead to war,
I urge us all to look into ourselves and fill the darkness in the world today with light any little way we can

Great post and very though provoking, I have been fascinated with shadows and the light / dark relationship recently so it was actually a quite strange that you posted about it!

What a beautiful and strong image .. true that darkness seems to prevail, but darkness is only an absence of light, not an essence in itself. Believe, shine, many united lights must overcome all physical, spiritual or mental darkness. Regards.
