I've never been to Romania so I don't know for sure. I will tell you that kerosene sells under a few different common names like "lamp oil" for the old lamps that people used in the 1800's for reading and also Coleman lanterns for camping.
It is also referred to "coal oil" because it is distilled from coal. The key is to used the kerosene that doesn't have any additives in it like color dye or aromas.
It is best, from what I've gathered, to be just plain old 100% pure and it is sold at hardware stores and outdoors / sporting goods store that sell camping supplies.
