RE: RIP Jade

in #dailypetphotography5 years ago (edited)

Oh no, Neli! I am so terribly sorry to hear about Jade...I can relate to the pain you feel and the hole in your heart. Our furbabies don't live nearly long enough -- 25 years should be the minimum lifespan! It's as if they are ripped away from our lives when as they are teenagers.

You will meet again one day at the Rainbow Bridge. Hugs!!! @nelinoeva 🐩🌈🐾

Thank you Nina, ❤
It is true they are like children and it feels like some part from us is missing when they are gone. Now the other dog is a bit anxious. Jade was her daughter and they were always together, unseparable.

That is so sad! They have feelings and emotions just like people. Are you saying Jade's mother outlived her daughter? What the heck happened to Jade? @nelinoeva

Jade has problems with her heart. The last medicine given worsened everything. She got fits and could not breathe well. Although we stopped the medication right away, she did not improve and we went into ER during the night. The doctors gave us some hope that she may survive, but she couldn't. She got different medication and we left her in the clinic. She was separated in a cell with extra oxygen. In the morning I received a call from the vet clinic that Jade has passed away.
Penny on the other hand outlived all her three puppies. When we took both Penny and Jade to look after them, one of the puppies was gone long ago and the second one was left by their previous owner. Well, it was not puupy anymoe, but 4 year old dog. Sadly a couple of years ago I understood that Jade's sister has died.
We took big risk by taking two adult dogs without any clear history about their health and we faced quite a lot of challenges. Penny also has some issue with her heart. I hope she will be strong and she will live longer.

This is a truly heartbreaking story, Neli.
I am overcome with sadness when I think how poor Penny must feel after losing her precious daughter Jade. How is she doing? And how are you holding up? @nelinoeva

I started replying twice before this time and couldn't get myself together. Bug hugs to you and Penny!💕

Thank you very much Nina.
Penny suprisingly is doing well, she is more anxious though.
We are learning to live with the thought that Jade is gone.
