What do you think will happen to Steemit after 5 years?
Being a social media platform that was built on a blockchain, I think Steemit will really bloom as one of the top social media sites in the world. These are some things that I was hoping to happen in Steemit in the near future
- Big number of users (authos and curators) will arrive in the community
As we can see, the 90 days account I was using we are having a million number of users. I do believe that after 5 years that number would be around a hundred million.
Number of curators will also increase giving us all the opportunity to get fair rewards depending on the contents we are writing
I do believe that Steemit will evolved and will be fair to all users around the community. I was also thinking that maybe, after 5 years steemit will manage those accounts that keeps on making spam messages by removing the features like posting and writing comments. These features will be removed to those users whose reputation was less than zero
I also believe that Witnesses number that acts as the network block's producers will increase. Maybe from 20 it will now be 30.
- Many Steemit condensers will be developed under the Steem Blockchain
Websites like ulogs, dtube, dlive, etc will emerge in the community. Mobile and Desktop applications will also be developed helping the community to connect with each other everytime.
Each website will be having their own features and will be having curators who will reward those who will use the platform. This will help all the users to grow in the community all together.
- Authors now do get the real orth of their creations
With the help of the big number of curators, authors will now be able to receive upvotes equal to their posts.
Rewarding process will now be then fair to all users.
- More games that was based on the Steemit blockchain will be developed
Games like SteemMonsters will be developed. The Steemit will then became a game site where users are being rewarded depending on their game account levels and game achievements.
- Steemit will be the became popular as one of the top Social Media Site in the world
Steemit will became popular like Steemit. I am seeing that facebook's number of users will decrease as they will keep on connecting and interacting using the steemit community.
Facebook's chat feature will be the only useful thing in the platform
I can also say that these are the things that I wish to happen after 5 years.

The fact that you can easily get paid makes steem a gamechanger. If they can spread the word I think the 'other' social media sites will be toppled... However, big tech will probably do plenty to suppress a movement like that. It will be interesting for sure via Kryptonia by @daytondoes

I pretty have a positive outlook with regards to the future of steemit.
In fact I am planning to invest some of my money into it when I have enough funds to buy me some ETH

You're right, I think Steemit will prevail over time, but I think the world of cryptocurrencies is very unstable.
