Daily Stoic: March 23rd - The Straitjacketed Soul

in #dailystoic6 years ago

Well Hi There!

Morning time again and I am feeling spring in the air.

In my body and spirit I am experiencing a renewal and desirable shift in consciousness. It is almost like I planted a bunch of seeds last fall time and over the winter have programmed them with my intentions and goals, which are now beginning to stir and awaken.

It feels great and it also feels exciting and different, slightly nervous hehe...

I leave it open now and in free form while the moving parts integrate and a new structure is created.

Welcome to The Daily Stoic

hmm... hehe . .

Not sure what to say about that except that it is true.

If our actions are based on greed then what are we living for? Or what are we fearing for?

Greed automatically assumes a lack mentality by trying to get it all or hoard it all for yourself,, either that or for some really strange reason don't want others to be able to have what you yourself can.

If we transfer that same feeling of greed from a personal perspective to a unified whole perspective it may actually be a very beneficial. . . People would then be working for the benefit of all in there every action working towards the truest and most full representation of itself.

In separatism, though, I can see how one could easily fall for a "there's not enough to go round" sort of attitude, but to then try and take more than you need if pretty selfish - -

I enjoy the idea more of working in our unique presence for the betterment of our current and surrounding situation as a reflection of the overarching and unified field.

I love reading the Daily Stoic each day because I love to ponder things, and to get in touch with my Self nature and essence.

While I may not be in full alignment with everything I find in this ancient lineage, it is often a good starting point for some really amazing thoughts and thinking about how to be the best; for ourselves, for each other and for the world.

If you enjoy pondering about Self and Mastery and the inner workings of Manifestation and How The World Works and such, then you will likely enjoy pondering these teachings throughout your day.

The authors Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman also provide some nice insight for each days quote. Both are modern day Stoics and have a lot to offer.

Each month follows a theme -
The previouos month, February, was about Passions and Emotions.
This month, March, is about Awareness.
