I thought 30% of all chats where discussing some other approaches / visions between the two big boys since months - think Dan has other visions and wants to develop new stuff his master brain is thinking of - he is a tech guy while Ned is a business boy - so I was not totally surprised. Also reading his background from bishares to steem and now resigning here makes sense and we shall not be afraid.
Dan says here why he chose to leave. Prior to his resignation, I had only ever asked him to stay. We were surprised and disappointed.

Although I found this announcement to resign yesterday. But this decision because comes without planning. But he retained the reasons not disclosed
