Hello my fellow Steemit folks!
So I was just sitting here thinking about the D&D session that I played last night and I want to know about a time in a campaign when either you are a fellow party member tried to kill an ally. How did you go about it and what was the out come?
Here is what happened last night.....
I play a Dragon Born Oathbreaker Paladin (5E). We are currently in the process of hunting the Lich king Belferon. Me and the elven druid were separated from the rest of the party. We were hurting and out of spells. This fight had been going on for a long time now and we have worked our way through hordes of undead and demons, anyways I have been trying to kill my friends forever. I have tried to frame them, get them to kill them selves or even walk right into death.
So here are me and the druid both almost dead and getting attacked by two driders. So I go kill one while the druid and some really wonderfully timed reinforcements kill the other. Once I am done with mine I turn a corner and walk right into a beholder zombie. This thing is right in my face with death in its eye stalks.
As I am standing there staring at it the beholder shoots at me with its disintegration ray. Welp this green ray of death hits me dead on, but me being the amazing paladin that I am, I just shrug it off. Now comes my turn and I just stare it straight in its eyes and make that thing my bitch. I have complete domination over this bugger.
Now comes the fun part. I yell out I'm sending a friend and have the beholder go to assist the druid. While its doing that I continue exploring. The beholder goes and stands by the druid, the druid goes and hides behind the beholder thinking its an ally.
Now the beholder goes and tries to disintegrate the elf, but being the wiley little bugger the elf is he dodges it. So the druid clues in to whats going on and books it. I mean runs like he has never ran before. As he is running for his dear life with his salty tears pouring down his face.
So the druid gets to the corridor where I, your valiant and amazing hero, is and shouts out "Hey is the beholder yours!?" I say "Ya, why?"
Now with out even answering my question the dirty druid shoots me right in the back. I mean he doesn't even give me a chance to find out what is going on. He just brutally shoots me right in the back and kills me.
Now the beholder has caught up at this point and this time decides to try a different attack. This time it shoots an enervating ray pegs the elf dead center and kills the back stabbing bugger. My ghost had never been happier.
So please share some of your back stabbing moments and lets hear some of the good times.
Game on friends!

Rolfz it was so much fun, I love that it actually failed the save and you where able to dominate the darn thing, mind you it likely helped that it was a zombie...But still worked out well.
All i remember and needs to be remember is never cross the DM.... Lol
Normally i agree with that, but just think of the look on the DM's face when you mess up there plans.
Lol its the fastest way to get your self killed and forced to draw another character lol
True but with great risk comes great fun!
