I don't put crypto at coinbase because of articles on steemit says not to cause either bad support or crashes. maybe try another exchange? or wallet?
Keep your Ethereum in your own wallet. You transfer it to an exchange only when you want to exchange it. I use the Mist wallet. Its easy to use, fast and safe.
