Double Asteroid Redirection Test
Today, in about 2 hours, @NASA will crash its DART spacecraft into an asteroid in an attempt to change its orbit, it will be the first planetary defence mission ever.
Spacecraft was launched from Earth in November 2021 and will crash a space probe into Dimorphos, the minor-planet moon of the asteroid Didymos.
I a big curious of space things and will be watching the mission control live stream of the impact here
Live stream will start in about 40 minutes from now.
